The Christmas Stocking is worked top-down from the leg to the toe. The stocking is worked in stockinette stitch and the heel is shaped using short rows. The stocking is felted at the end before the name is embroidered, the edge is folded and sewn, and a leather loop is attached.

Length of foot: 30 cm

Measurements after felting: Width: 17 cm

Length of foot: 26 cm

Gauge: 15 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5.5 mm needles before felting
